The Build
A Four-Figure Street Car
This G42 started as a B58 M240i and left as a 1,059 whp single-turbo street car. The factory bottom end was set aside for a fully built KLM engine, the foundation that lets the platform live at the kind of cylinder pressure a single big turbo makes.
Fuelling and control are where a build like this is won or lost. It runs ProTuningFreaks' REV2 FlexRay controller on bootmod3 to keep every system honest under boost, calibrated by Sameh Yehia, with a transmission swap to put the power down. The result on our street map: 1,059 whp and 895 ft-lb at 40 psi, verified on the Mainline dyno.

The Run
1,059 WHP On The Mainline
Street map at 40 psi, caught on the dyno in our Mississauga shop.
No simulated numbers. This is the actual pull. We logged it on a street map at 40 psi and watched the curve climb past four figures, then dialled in fuelling and timing on the REV2 controller until it was repeatable, not a one-off screen grab.
Engine: KLM / Control: ProTuningFreaks REV2 / Calibration: Sameh Yehia
From the shop
Street map: 1,059 whp at 40 psi. Built to live there, not just see the number once.
